    I Also Recommend:

Baseball, show dogs, and perseverance are just what this book has in store for you.

In the book Champ, a dog and a boy are brought together out of the blue. Champ and Riley are total opposites. Champ is the well known show of the town, and is praised all of the time. He has brought in a lot of money for his owner, Mrs. Learner. Riley is an average boy, spending his summer on baseball. His dad tries to get him to play sports all the time. Riley has failed or quit most of these sports, and is now trying baseball. When an unforgettable accident happens, these two opposites are brought together. Champ is now a three legged dog, not a four. Riley takes him in because Mrs. Learner is going to put him to sleep. Riley starts getting Champ into agility, and enter the Founders Day picnic agility contest. This book is amazing. I think that anyone will like this book, and that you will especially like it. Marcia Thornton Jones is a great author, and if you like this book you will like other books by her. One of her series is the Keyholders series. Enjoy!
