This short story, i guess you would call it, has characters as flat as paper and a story line that is almost nonexistent. Nothing is explained and its actually very hard to follow. The dialogue sounds fake, like something that would come out of a gangster themed, talking barbie. Its not even worth buying for free so don't waste your time or energy. The author tried to make this passage of a story really, gritty and seedy, but they aren't actually good enough writers to make that happen. All in all this.....i don't even know what to call it.... is confusing, fake, boring, and utterly pointless. Oh and the relationship between the old man and the girl is well.......disgusting, so don't even take a chance on this one.

I didnt prefer it. It was very short, and hard to read. It said a bazillion cuss-words, and takes place at a bar. Don't waste your time reading it. The plot and characters were disgusting, and it was impossible to read. Sorry

31 craploaded pages involving swearing, unexplained characters with troubled backgrounds you learn nothing about, dialogue that sounds fake and forced, and a disgusting relationship between a 60 year old man and a 15 year old girl. And the author can't seem to decide whether the story was in first person or third. Lots of gramatical errors and hard-to-follow storyline in which nothing happens. It is a waste of time, space and energy. Not even worth one star.

As the author of Chance I wish to alert people to the fact that the review attributed to Nathalia Li was not written by me. I do not regard the genuine and authentic and thoughtful responses of readers to muy work as insulting. Sadly few of the comments offered qualify. But readers can say what they will.
