I just picked up Change One Thing as I have done some Image Presentations myself and that it would be a good resource book. It is a great resource but the book is so much more! For me, I can see it will be life-changing. I had to re-invent myself after a down-sizing with 34 years service in multiple company locations. Change is not new to me.I thrive on it. I changed from corporate management to retail management and love the people aspect of my new career. But in the doorway of another opportunity-I froze up. I had a panic attack. I was fearing change. I was tired of change. I could see all the things around me that were mediocre because I was not managing my time well. And so many personal things I had left undone. Then I started reading Change One Thing. First thing I did was to admit that I am afraid of this new opportunity, I'm afraid of success and failure at the same time. I'm not a spring chicken...can this old "gal" still learn and keep up with energy, etc? I put the book down long enough to write this review and say that I am re-arranging Thursday night to meet Anna at Barnes and Noble! Thank you for sharing practical wisdom and so much insight....I am changing one thing at a time. This book is a blessing to me and it will be to many.

I really enjoyed this book! Although I'm not currently out in the workforce, I still learned a lot about myself and how I can improve my image. I'm that much more prepared for employment down the road. I really think everyone can relate to this book!

I read the book from first page to last, and I absolutely loved it. It is practical and easy to read. I found especially useful the part about clothes that make the most impact at various business events. Among other things it included practical tips on styles, colors, brands and prices. After having read this part I recalled the power of navy blue. Also, I enjoyed the part about the 10 most common excuses for not changing, for example, feeling insufficiently educated or not having enough experience. Anna has provided tips on how to get over these insecurities and helped me to realize that I should not be afraid to try something new just because I haven't done it before. A great book with lot of examples and practical tips. Strongly recommended for everyone who would like to do even better especially in this tough market.
