Right from the moment I got this book in the mail, I knew this was going to be a life-changing amazing book. I loved how the cover was creative, how the book was laid out with text as well as images and ultimately fell in love with the “experience” of reading it. On the authors’ recommendation I read the whole thing through in one sitting but have since gone back to pour over the wisdom in the pages when I need to adjust my mindset and need a fresh infusion of Asset Based Thinking. I have never come across a “business” book as intriguing, fresh, and enchanting as “Change the Way you See Everything” – you will absolutely love it and be inspired to a new level of living by the content inside.

This book does provide some simple but insightful exercises. By themselves, they are helpful in moving people to AbT. The real value that I found was that it actually sparked some very practical new ideas for my coaching clients and several team development workshops that I am currently working on. I was skeptical of the 'picture book' concept but realized it was similar to going through an Appreciative Inquiry in that the PROCESS of reading actually made me feel energized, optimistic, and eager to implement these ideas. The lone drawback, in my opinion, is that the authors could have pointed to more research for the effectiveness of their approach. In the end, this is a pretty good read that proved inspirational AND practical for me and my work.

What a great read! I just received this book from my brother. I found it very helpful and after reading I feel that my perception on life has been altered in a positive way. I would recommend this book to anyone is the business world, or anyone who is entering a new phase.
