Overview

Mason is in love, and being a traditional kind of guy he expects traditional things—like rings, rice, and church bells. Rebecca is in love too, although she prefers to think of it as being ‘in lust’. Oh, she wants him, badly in fact, but if it’s all the same to him she’ll just skip the church and rice bit and go straight to the blazing hot sex.

Unfortunately for her, and for her sweet bottom, it isn’t all the same to him. Mason is a reasonable man most of the time, or at least that’s what he tells himself, but he is determined to change Rebecca’s mind about marriage by almost any means necessary. As his frustration level skyrockets he begins to realize he might be a little more traditional and a little less reasonable than he thought. He’s willing to give her something blazing hot alright, but until they tie the knot it won’t be blazing hot love she’ll get, it will be a blazing hot bottom.

Contrary to the first review written on June 22, 2012, I found this book to be very well written. This author has talent and can tell a great story. The character development of Rebecca and Mason (and the secondary characters) is excellent as I not only read how they interacted with each other but why they each acted as they did. They came alive and had my attention from the first few lines. This is a romance with light erotica carefully stitched into the story and it is also balanced with humor in all the right places, especially scenes in Rebecca's kitchen, the grocery story and again in Mason's apartment with his brother, Nick. I definitely want to read more from this author and I hope a second book is coming soon. I really want to find out how Nick and Rebecca's friend, Maggie, resolve their differences from 15 years ago. Does spanking run in the family with these two brothers and is Maggie as stubborn and feisty as Rebecca?

This is a really great story abput two people in love but for a change the woman is the one who is scared to get married and just wants to live togther. Her fiance says no deal and makes it his mission to get her down the aisle even if he has to spank her each time she tries to undermine his goal. This is funny and sweet and romantic and hopefully we will see a sequel soon.

Loved the book; it had me from page one. Well written, romantic and funny. Stevie MacFarlane may be a new author but she has the talent to write a best seller. I can't wait for her next book to be published.

This was written by an idiot, no female as strong as this one would accept a spanking from such a fool, he was always stupid,
