The King's Singers' long history has a wonderful mix of tradition and progression in this release, proving their unending ability to combine singing perfection with both melodic line and wonderful wit. This incarnation of the group had been together long enough to achieve such an intangible understanding of singing as a group that they achieve perfection with art song, madrigal, and standard.

These guys are one of the best groups around. This was a really excellent performance. The arrangments on the songs were a bit unusual at times but they worked.
