    For Beginning Marlinspike Learners

    If you are a beginning student in the ways of Marlinspike Seamanship or the knot tying arts, this book by Chapman is an excellent primer. It's easy to read and the knots are basic knots used by everyday folks and outdoors types who want to know how knots are properly used and tied. For those just starting out this should the first 'essential knot' book you read.
