From the Publisher
"The sixth edition of this well-known book sticks to its now familiar format and has been kept to size.
There are two separate parts to the book. The first and larger section is organised system by system with radiological signs and their differential diagnoses provided in lists and is very clearly and logically laid out. A second section gives imaging findings for common conditions; this is useful but not exhaustive.
The bite size topics have the right amount of detail to keep at one’s fingertips and reproduce in the examination or clinical meetings. Useful references have been updated. The book is still regarded by UK trainees as an essential companion for FRCR Part 2B tutorials and prepar-ation, primarily because of its surgical sieve approach listing differential diagnosis in order of commonness.
Although very much thought of an examination primer this will be useful for reporting radiographers and radiologist alike. This is a useful, pocket-sized book that is quick to reference and well-priced."

Aids to Radiological Differential Diagnosis does exactly what it claims. The new edition is thoroughly revised and updated and now contains an extensive paediatric chapter. In particular, it will form an extremely popular companion to the film viewing section of the FRCR Part IIB examination in the UK. It is a book that I intend to keep close at hand.
