Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly - Publisher's Weekly
Now that the planet Arrakis (Dune) has been annihilated, the Bene Gesserit order turns its stronghold Chapterhouse into another desert world, and from this base, the sisterhood plans its moves against ruthless rivals. Drawing on a vast store of history and religion, the book is ``so rich in this one area that others suffer and the narrative crawls,'' PW observed. (October)

    This is NOT the end....

This is not the last book in the Dune series. Or, at least, was not supposed to be. Frank Herbert was working on notes for Dune 7 just before he died. They were recently found by his son, who has written the Dune Prelude series. He intends to use those notes and write the fnal chapter to this saga. I hope he can pull it off.

    I can't believe it's over!

This was the end of a great series of books and I can't beleive it's over. Frank Hebert was a great story teller and he will be missed. If you like a great story with complex plot lines, like I do, then this is a must read.
