The experiences of Charlotte in Giverny, France, were so fresh and interesting to me, the reader. I traveled to France and tried to go to Giverny by train and somehow could not make the connection. This book made a piece of that connection for me. Such a delightful book, full of the thoughts of a young girl and her time in this enchanting place. The watercolors are amazing and gives one the feel of Giverny and the artistic characters of that time. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. A lovely story about a family living in Giverny, home of Claude Monet. The story is told by Charlotte, who tells the story of her family living and interacting with the famous artists living and visiting Claire Monet and his family. The story is told as journal entries. Love this series!!!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
