    Visual feast

Charlotte's latest work is a visual feast. I do, however agree with the other reviewer that "Winter House" is a far more informative, in-depth book. This volume is more or less a book on Mrs. Moss's thoughts on such things as glamour and comfort, and what a bedroom, powder room, dining room, etc should be (how they should feel, function, and so on). While not necessarily an idea-generating book as far as the text is concerned, it's still a great read - one chapter brought back excellent memories of my grandmother - and there are PLENTY of gorgeous photographs to spend hours taking in to help get those creative juices flowing. True, many of the photos are of her own NYC home, but what more perfect example? Expensive, yes - but just like her, it's a beautifully crafted book; you can see and feel the quality.

A Flair for Living by Charlotte Moss

Beautiful Illustrations. Not as good as her book "Winter House" which is just fabulous, but still a great book for gift-giving or for your coffee table. I did not find this book as informative, although the pictures are out of this world!

    Fabulous!

Anyone who loves making things beautiful will love this book - the photos are beautiful and the essence of Charlotte Moss flows off the pages. It's an easy read and you'll be reading it over and over and over.

    A reviewer

This book is Charlotte's low point. She has written several other wonderful, and informative books on how to go about the 'creative process' of couture interior design. Any of them, would be a better choice than this book--which is nothing more than an array of photos from one of her own houses, full of predictable and tired rooms.
