    Survivor 2

After reading this book I could relate to everything. I was the 'charmed'. This book describes a charmer and con-artist to the full extent. I've been in a relationship with a con artist and this book definatly was a wake up call and proved it's not me but him!

You'll know you aren't alone after reading this....

I was in a relationship 2 years ago with a 'charmer', I just didn't know it. Then after reading this book I realized that the person I thought 'loved' me simply wasn't able to love. I ended up in therapy at the end and after my relationship with this man. However it wasn't until I began reading this book that I actually began to RECEIVE the therapy I needed (& it was a sort of 'self-therapy'!). I literally felt that this book was written based off my recent experience. Charmers and Con Artists helped me realize and UNDERSTAND that what I went through was not entirely 'my fault', that there was something else, beyond my control...this other person, who sickness ended the relationship. It helped me grieve and forgive, and still maintain my dignity. If you are in a relationship with someone who manipulates, degrades and lies to you yet 'loves you with all their heart' please read this book. LEARN from it, learn that what you are going through is not normal and that you are NOT alone...
