Laura’s love of the old west began in childhood with her Little House books and continues to this day. The strength and courage of the families who carved lives out of nothing have always amazed and inspired her, and made her thank the good Lord she was born in a time of electricity and indoor plumbing.

    Didn't hate it!

    If your idea of fun is reading about two extremely insecure people -- then this is your book! Insecurity wears thin as a plot line in over 500 pages. It needed a stronger story line or some type of sub plot. But the main characters seemed nice and your happy they found each other.
