Really? That is how you are going to leave it? There is going to be another book or another series... right? Those were pretty much my exact thoughts upon finishing this book (well, I may have cleaned them up a little bit). When I picked up the first Beyonders book in Barnes & Noble shortly after it came out I ended up staying at Barnes & Noble until I had finished it. A completely unintentional read. I liked it. A lot. I have been waiting for this third book for what seems like ages. And I was not disappointed. Jason and Rachel are leading the rebels to overthrow Maldor. Everyone's favorite displacer is back along with the snarkiest seed person and all the other characters I became attached to in the previous 2 books. Did you get that Brandon? I am attached to them. All of them. As with the other 2 books this one is well written and thought out. Jason in particular is incredibly believable as a regular kid who somehow manages to make a place for himself in this new world. In as much as there can be believabilty in a a fantasy series Brandon Mull achieves it. And quite cleverly the book wraps up the story line that was started in A World without Heroes but keeps open the opportunity for more stories. If you haven't read this series you should.

I loved it!! But... Seeing as this was the last book, since I finished it, I'm gonna go and feel empty inside.

I absolutely loved reading this trilogy! It's hands down better than the Hunger Games! The only other books that could challenge it are the Fablehaven books! There should be another series, a companion to The Beyonders series. I understand that there can't be too many more books or the series will lose it's originality or the topic will be worn out but one more series would satisfy me and other big time fans of these books. Also, companion books to the Beyonders Series would, in my opinion, boost the books popularity.

The finale of Beyonders is great. Rather thdn see the characters tackle danger mindlessly, they think their way through impossible situations that lead up to a fantastic finale, even if Jason and his team doesn't return from their quest quick enough. It ends fantastically as well, even if it's marred by a plot twist that I probably should've expected out of a book of this type. The death count is high, though, so don't expect all your favorite Lyrianians to survive. And yes, that was a bad joke.

I almost cried at the end; believe me, the end is heartbreaking. ;/ As I closed the book, I felt extremely depressed. Is this the end? ;( Monsieur Mull, do me a favor and get Rachel back in Lyrian. She is the awesomest person ever.

Love the series, love the author. Brandon Mull is an amazing writer. This series has the same interesting storylines, attention to details, twists and turns as the Fablehaven series. Definitely a must read for all you fantasy adventure freaks!! Great way to end an exciting series. Classic story of good vs. evil, good always prevails but at what cost? Who will become a hero, and who will be the deceitful trusted spy?

Great ending Brandon! I'm looking forward to your future projects (and I really hope you visit Lyrian again).

This was an awesome book! Brandon Mull has masterfully crafted a conclusion worthy of the great libraries of Lyrian. Beyonders: Chasing the Prophecy leaves the reader breathless and screaming for more. The Beyonders series goed very well with Mull's other bookw such as Fablehaven and Candy Shop War. Long Live Brandon Mull!

This book is by far the best book in the series! Brandon Mull did SUCH a great job. I am really glad I preordered it. A book has never made me cry. This one hasn't made me cry, but its the closest I have ever been to crying over a book! I got so sad when I finished it, and for 3 reasons: 1. The series was over 2. The book was over. 3. It ends so sad!! Brandon Mull, please write a second set of books in this series, I am so sad to see it end!

Why did he have to die? WHYYY? WHY DID FERRIN DIE? I LOVED THAT CHARACTER HE WAS MY FAVORITE(besides Rachel). Also I really disliked the fact that Rachel left Lyrian. I meam, I know she missed her parents and all, why couldnt she have just went back to Lyrian after visiting her parents? Also the end still left me with several questions unanswered. A bit disapointing (no, that was an understatement, very disapointing). They do defeat Maldor, but its not exactly "happily ever after". The other two books to this trilogy were way more enjoyable.

He was awesome! Why did he have to die? They could have defeated the lurker some other way! Jasher could have made that sacrifice! An Amar Kabal shouldn't have hade to leave Lyrian forever(unless it's Nollin)! Rachel could have hade some sort of love life with him, because that's the way it would have been! He goes all the way back to the first book, and one of Jason's closest friends in Lyrian! I felt like I knew him! WHY?

The first book in the series I really liked, but the second and this one did not meet my expectations.
