In 2011 I was awarded the rank of Master by the Combat Martial Arts Practitioners Association. On the subject of martial arts I have penned The Cabal Fang Martial Arts Manual, Wisdom of the Raven, and the popular pamphlet Self-Defense for Activists. I graduated from the University of Virginia in 1983 with a B.A. in English. My wife and I are the proud parents of four children and three grandchildren.
