Again this comic, just like Blanc, is not a yaoi manga. Instead it is an absorbing collection of affecting stories with horror, loss, consequence, prejudice, indifference, disaffection and cynicism. There is an artistic flair and almost experimental vibe to the book. These stories seem to be something that is felt more than anything else. I continue to feel that these collections are much more oriented towards discerning readers in their presentation and subject matter. I am now a solid fan of Ms. Chayamachi for her thoughtful and emotional works. Also worth mention is the Guild team DMGStardust for their work. The text flows well, translation notes are appreciated and I like the font choices that compliment the pages. One issue I found was a speech bubble that contained some stray specks likely either artifacts of compression, or a result of the Japanese copy not being cleaned quite properly. Still, having bought all of the titles they have done so far, I think DMGStardust will be one of my favorite localization teams for their quality.
