    Cheap Red Wine

This was agood read, alot of ups and downs, ins and out more like a roller coaster ride. It was a very interesting story with more back stabbing than I could handle thats for sure. But it seems everyone ended up happy so that made me happy. I would reccomend this book to anyone out there who enjoy reading ...

Cheap Red Wine, a wonderful read! When I purchased this book, I first thought that I was going to be a huge fan of Bette's because she initially drew me in. However, halfway through the story, I found myself feeling sorry for Grace, who was clearly in need of some TLC.

This book has a little bit everything in it. If you're not a fan of erotic scenes, like myself, you'll be glad to know that the author doesn't abruptly throw you into the scenes. I was grateful for that, as it gave me enough warning so that I could skip those parts. I loved the twist in the middle of the book, involving Jackson, his father, Jamal, and his butler! There is a brief mention about Bette's parentage that I would have liked to see the author explore more of; however, not exploring it certainly did not take away from the storyline at all!

For a debut novel, Sandra Hall came out swinging and she managed to hit a home run! I would definitely recommend this book. I'm looking forward to reading more stories in this genre (contemporary fiction) from this author. Great job, Sandra Hall!

    Roller Coaster

The book is good. The characters are believable projecting traits that stir various emotions from the reader. At times, I would be cheering for an individual ir couple then i would find myself against tge person or couple. Enjoyable read.

Amazing story. So full of drama, love, romance, danger oh and sex. I'm so happy to have had the pleasure to come across this author. The characters are so full of life and makes you want to get to know them. Very easy read can't wait to see what this author has up her sleeve next. Jackson and Jamal their lady of choice over sneaky Grace was something else. Bette was sometimes over the top. I don't want to spoil it for you but its a MUST READ!!!!!

Just finished reading this novel by Sandra Hall. Since she is a new writer and this is her first book, I will say I enjoyed the story. I thought I wasnt going to get through the story because it was so many pages (over 900). The story was fast paced. Once you start reading you get to know the characters very well especially Grace and Bette. These two characters are best friends yet they are total opposites, this book follows them as they are both have their eyes on one man, but who will get him?
I think the book was good, but sometimes within the story, the transaction to the next part of the story was a little shifty, it was kind of like ok well what happened now how are we at this person when we was just talking about that person. I think if that was fixed it would flow a little better in some area of the book.
Overall, I did enjoy the story it wasnt a typical book i would have read, but it was still enjoyable, it didnt have too many details to make the story boring so that was a big plus it was 900 pages of drama, betrayal and love.

Cheap Red Wine evoked a lot of emotions man. Bette just thoroughly pissed me off in the majority of this book. Some things that were done in her relationship with Jackson & outside of it, just really gave me a "wow" moment! And don't get me started on Grace. Sandra Hall definitely is a gifted writer & she weaved an excellent tale of drama, love, and betrayal. I wish all the best in her future endeavors.

An Intriguing first novel - worth checking out!

This new writer, Sandra Hall has a fresh smooth voice. From the first chapter I was hooked on Grace and Bette. Grace might be considered the antagonist, but this character was the one I was 'feeling' the most. She had a few problems, but I rooted for her to the end. Oh, and Bette had a few surprises as well. Cheap Red Wine was a good read and I hope she has more stories coming soon!

    a fun read

An enjoyable and fast-paced read from newcomer Sandra Hall. I only wished there were more scenes with Bette's family. They were a riot.
