About the Author

Elizabeth MacDermot Murphy is the eldest daughter of Canadian composer and pianist and writer of Grammy and Tony Award winning rock musical Hair and Two Gentleman of Verona. Elizabeth taught English Literature on the university level for 30 years. at Notre Dame Academy HS and Staten Island Technical HS. Prior to teaching, she danced professionally in the NYC area.
