Just so, so as a children's book

This book simply doesn't compare to the colour and illustrations found in other children's books like 'Chess for Kid' and 'Chess for Children'. The instruction is ok for older children but could be improved a bit if a few items were placed in a different order. Hence, I wouldn't recommend it as a programme text book either. Certainly, nothing to write home about.
