Meet the Author

A multi-platinum producer, arranger, and composer, Christopher Ward has worked on Oscar®- and Grammy®-awarded scores for some of the top talent in Hollywood. He has written or produced for over fifty-five films, ninety episodes of television, and numerous commercials for clients such as Coke, Sony, and Lexus. His entry into film scoring at USC launched him into a position with Hans Zimmer for seven films including True Romance, The Lion King, and Pearl Harbor. For six years he collaborated with Mark Mancina on such films as Speed and Tarzan, and the hit show The Lion King On Broadway, for which he also produced the world song recordings. He continued to score and produce for over twenty more films before launching his own studio with independent films and the Tae-Bo exercise series. He has written songs for Fox's Dodgeball, Flight of the Phoenix, and produced three songs for Oscar®-winning Walk The Line. Christopher's progressive roots emerge most clearly on "Jackie Chan Adventures," incorporating the use of world music and lyric melodies, which soar over ethnic percussion in the WB's successful series. He completed the score and production for Shamu's show, Believe, for SeaWorld, which won both top honors in international competition, TEA and IAAPA's Best Show. Believe is also a best-selling CD. His orchestral and choral work can be heard on Fox's Academy Award®-nominated short film No Time For Nuts, as well as award-winning features Capture of the Green RIver Killer, and Prayers for Bobby. He launched Award Agency in 2009 with his family to promote their amazing library of images from National Geographic, Time, Newsweek, the White House Press, and Vogue. Representing over a million iconic images from around the world, Award Agency produces archival works of art for collectors. His latest ebook is available: Chewed Art: The Art of Deconstruction.
