I feel proud to say that in the oral tradition of our kavi sammelan, there is no other expert in verses like Guru Saxena. Guru Saxena has closely observed the characteristics and traditions of their execution, not only of Sanskrit, but also of all the famous verses of Prakrit and Hindi. All the traditional verses of Hindi, especially the metrical verses, are the product of Prakrit Pingal Sutraani or Prakrit Pengalam and after that the poets of the Ritikaal period did the work of verse characteristics. --Dr. Ashok Chakradhar
