My NookBook now has this wonderful little cookbook with the colorful chicken cover. The recipes are terrific, only a couple did not appeal to me. But I've already made two and they were great! There are the classics like "Chicken Pot Pie" and "Chicken and Dumplings." The ingredients and instructions are clear. There's the lesser-known "Velvet Chicken Soup" made with whipping cream and flour as rich thickeners. A few of the recipes use shredded cheese (always yummy). We made the "Sunny Day Chicken Salad" and "Shrimp Stuffed Chicken" Both were delicious and easy to make for a summer's day. I really like this little gem of a cookbook. I think there are at least a few recipes to suit anyone's taste.....but you must love Chicken! I also suggest that you check the Gooseberry Patch Nook Book section often, because I got this one free! (then often put one of two Gooseberry Patch cookbooks for free)

I am so inspired by these recipes. I'm a huge chicken fan, and will love making these dishes up in my kitchen soon. Thanks very much, Gooseberry Patch, for yet another free offering! This one's a winner-winner, chicken dinner.

This cookbook looked good from all the reviews but all the recipies were bad. The only good one was the salad which was basic. If you want a good chicken cookbook look somewhere else.

I've tried a few of these recipes, and they were super yummy. Even my extremely picky children liked them. This will definitely be a go to book for easy chicken dinners!

Haven't tried the recipes yet, but seems like a good chicken cookbook. Recipes sound delicious, have good clear directions and most are easy with few regular ingredients (don't have to look for hard to find items). Helpful tips are included at beginning of each recipe. Well written, you will enjoy this book if you like Chicken.

If you collect hard bound books...these little cookbooks are also something to buy! Have given several as gifts and never disappoint.

I love the Gooseberry Patch cookbooks. The recipes are easy to make and great to eat. A good reference to have in your collection.
