I loved the stories in this book. I felt many of the authors showed strength and grace in dealing with very stressful events. I especially liked how the editors wove their advice in and around the stories, mentioning particulars from the stories in their comments. Chicken Soup books are lovely pictures of life events, brought home to us in stories that we can relate to so well. They usually make me feel warm and happy, but often after having shed a few tears.

This was a real disappointment...pat pablum about how to reduce stress that we've all heard a millionn times. The stories were boring and the whole thing felt like it written in the '70s. This should NOT be part of the Chicken Soup pantheon.
