I love this book. The stories are heartwarming and some are just down-right funny. It's a great book to take a long when you are going to have to wait in line or travel. If you love dogs, you will love the stories in this book.

These heart warming stories are so sweet. Some of them just make you want to cry, others make you want to snuggle with your puppy. They all touch your heart. I just got this book last night and I cant put it down!

I'm not really sure what kind of review to give this book. The reason for this is I am crazy about anything that has to do with dogs. However, as several previous reviewers pointed out, every single story in that book was a reprint. There is nothing wrong with reprinting stories that fit in the category of the book. The majorty of the stories ought to be originals, though. Just my opinion.

I was very disappointed when I started reading the book and realized that it consists of stories that have already been published in other "Chicken Soup for the Soul" books. It is basically just a compilation of stories from their previous books.

Running out of material and quality writers. Remember Readers' Digest? These books are starting to remind me of the pages I'd read of short 3 paragraph anecdotes that, perhaps at the time, were mildly witty. But now there is so much truly gritty qualitative reading material out there, why bother with this stuff? One has to wonder that if this is the best of the submissions, quality writers have begun to dismiss this publication as a reputable place for their work.
