I have always been a Chicken Soup for the Soul reader, but also a true animal lover. As a pet parent to 2 dogs, 6 cats, and 2 parrots, I am always reading books and articles about pets. This book is an amazing, at times hilarious, at times Kleenex driven, short story repertoire of the gifts of dogs. There are stories that will tug at your heartstrings and others that will bring a smile to your face in a stress filled world. I love short stories especially when one is so busy these days, and I don't have the time to concentrate on some heavy reading. Please take the time to let the dogs in these stories become your friends! Dogs give us so much; this book helps us remember those qualities. Happy Reading!

At the back of camp is a large welcoming honysuckle bush. Inside it is slightly warm and sunny. Here elders can sleep or share storys. They can rest in peace for the rest of their lives. The den is a source of excitment for kits. They can hear war storys all day long. But the den is despised by apprenrices. For they have to clean nest and go through pelts for ticks. The elders can rest knowing they have earned it. -informing Blossomstar
