The Children of Now by Dr. Meg Blackburn Losey is an in-depth analysis of the evolution of humanity through an examination of several categories of inherently gifted children being born into the world today. Far advanced beyond the Indigo Children, Dr. Meg describes abilities that include telepathy, knowledge of cosmic consciousness, expansive psychic awareness, and even teleportation.
Although oftentimes hard to believe, if the information provided within The Children of Now is accurate, then humanity is undergoing a major paradigm shift in preparation for an entirely new state of consciousness. Dr. Meg opens her analysis with an attempt to explain what is happening with these children at the DNA level. The medical community has categorized the anomalies of these children into malfunctions such as attention deficit disorder and autism. Dr. Meg theorizes that these children are not malfunctioning at all. In fact, she suggests they are actually hyper-functioning, operating between the third dimension and other etheric worlds, communicating with non-physical entities and making telepathic contact with one another and herself through the use of orbs.
According to Dr. Meg, the Crystalline Children "create an energy shift as they are born." She suggests as these children are born, light fills the room and creates an energetic imbalance. The Crystalline Children are beyond intuitive. They are incredible psychic and extremely sensitive energetically. They are empathic and deeply concerned about the well-being of others and the planet. Very naturally, they command healing energy, are compassionate, and they interested in the fair treatment of everyone through social consciousness.
Per Dr. Meg, the Children of the Stars are comprised of both human and extraterrestrial DNA, and she theorizes any number of possible explanations for how this could have happened. Similar to Crystalline Children in many ways, Star Children often feel out of place in this world and express a desire to "go home." They are fascinated with the Universe and the constellations, and they often dream of flying. Highly clairvoyant, they have knowledge of life on other planets and are capable of moving objects through telekinesis.
The Children of Now also examines children Dr. Meg refers to as "our beautiful silent ones," or children with severe physical disabilities but enhanced mental clarity and knowledge. Transitional Children exhibit many of the characteristics of both Crystallines and Star Children and are bridging the gap between evolutionary stages. Finally, Dr. Meg discusses what she refers to as "Angels on Earth." Contrary to common angelic theory, Dr. Meg suggests angels are actually incarnating in human form on earth.
The last few chapters of The Children of Now examine how parents and society can encourage and develop the special gifts of these children. Appropriate diet, aesthetic environment, and educational structure are all explored in detail.
It takes an open mind to accept the information Dr. Meg offers. The Children of Now barely scratches the surface of everything that is to be learned of this new breed of humanity and its spiritual evolution.

We are evolving and these wonderful souls have agreed to help us do so. It is up to us as human beings to open our hearts and minds to the beauty and profound simplicity of these children through their innocence and wisdom. I love how Dr. Meg compiled this material into an easy to read and understand format. Although it stretched some of my boundaries, it also answered some of my questions. Give yourself the gift of understanding by reading this book. Highly Recommended.
