Captain Frederick Marryat (1792-1848) was an English Royal Navy officer for 25 years, and wrote stirring adventures of the high sea.     Best book I've ever read

    I love this book! It is definitely the best book I have ever read, and I'm still reading it over and over. It contains adventure, action, suspense, romance, and the struggle of four children left to survive on their own. I wish someone would make a movie out of it!

    Highly Highly Highly recommended- read it, you'll love it

    I have read this book when i was much much younger in life i wasnt even a teenager yet and that is when the book was hard cover and red, with no pitcure on the front i love this book and read it so many time then that i have always looked for it, my mom gave it to me, so now that i have found it am getting it for my daughter hope she enjoys it as much as i did, am going to read it first.
