Meet the Author

Will Lanoie has existed since 1984. In 1997, he began writing a script to a video game concept that contained the Will Snider character. In 2004, Will discontinued college due to boredom, and enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. He served as an operator in the scout sniper platoon of 1st Battalion, 4th Marines for his first three years, and as a marksmanship instructor for 1st Marine Regiment during his last year. In 2009, he was accepted into DigiPen Institute of Technology, to study video game design, but deferred enrollment to work overseas as a private security contractor. In the same year, he started the script and initial concept art to Children of War. In 2010, he founded One Twenty Productions, Inc, to begin producing the manga version of his story. Many of the events and characters of Children of War, derive from his childhood and military experiences. Will plans to return to school to study video game design, and to someday create his visionary video game version of Children of War.
