Children with Emerald Eyes is a beautiful and well written book. Mira Rothenberg seems to have a very intuitive understanding of these children that eludes many others. Or, perhaps it is that we are often unable to see past our own emotions in order to understand.

I can't say enough about this book. I have reread it about five times and am going to buy a copy for my local library just to make sure they have it. This is a definitive, ground-breaking work looking at the healing that is possible when psychology is personal, when it is a genuine, full-hearted attempt to open another's heart and mind to love.
