Stuart Hample is the co-editor of Children's Letters to God and other books. He lives in New York City.

Eric Marshall is a co-editor of the bestselling Children's Letters to God.

The letters in this book express that part of a child's world reserved for special thoughts and wishes. The subject matter ranges through those beliefs, desires, questions and doubts that are urgent and common to all children. Some of the letters are disarmingly wise, others nanve; some are knowing, some simple; some reverent, some not so reverent. Many are weighted with seriousness; others are lit with smiles. All of them are addressed to God with much hope and trust.

Grownups know for certain, of course, that the letters will not get there no matter how much postage they carry. But then grownups know so much more than children-sometimes.

In choosing these letters, we've tried to convey the incredibly variety they represent. Their spelling and grammar have not been corrected, for what they say they say better as they are. -Eric Marshall and Stuart Hample

    Out of the Mouths of Babes

    This little volume really nails children & their innocent point of view of the unknown to a T. Perhaps they're the ones who are onto something. Anyways, anytime I need to keep a little perspective on the greater picture, I flip open this darling little book.

    A Great Pick-Me-Up

    While traveling out of state, I was jet-lagged and suffering a case of the why-can't-I-just-stay-at-home blah's. A colleague in the city where I was staying recommended this book. It's a great little pick-me-up. This also makes great stocking stuffers, birthday gifts, etc.
