She is a member of the Children's Book Council and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and the founder of the Zebra-Striped Whale Foundation, a nonprofit organization that seeks to enrich communities through the art of children's book publishing. She lives in New Hope, Pennsylvania.

    If you are interested in writing children's books, this book is a must read.

    Very comprehensive. Even if you don't want to self publish, there is lots of first hand information about all types of publishing.
