Editorial Reviews

Library Journal - Library Journal
Recent years have brought a spate of books offering counsel to the aspiring home video producer, and this work follows a standard pattern: after a nontechnical discussion of the operation of video cameras and peripheral equipment, there are chapters on production techniques, lighting, planning, special effects, etc. Clearly written and well-illustrated, the book is aimed at the absolute or near novice. For the more advanced, better selections might be John Bishop's Home Video Production ( LJ 1/86), virtually identical in scope, or for the more technically minded, pertinent chapters in Peter Utz's The Complete Home Video Book (LJ 3/1/84).
