    CHINESE IS NOT FOR DUMMIES

Prior to my visit to China, I wanted to become familiar with the language, customs, and other pertinent information. The book gave some information that was useful, but the language tapes were ineffective. Simply listening to conversations, without the English translation was pointless. It was the least helpful book I purchased for my trip.
