About the Author

I am a 26 year old Chinese girl who has been able to travel to 40 countries because as a student I realised how important learning English was. English was my passsport to the world. I have been fortunate to be employed by a number of well known international companies as a translator and interpreter and have met some fantastic people including an Australian author who convinced me that complaining about Chinese tour groups did not accomplish much and that I should write for a wider audience.

It has always been my dream to complete an MBA and I am presently doing this at Assumption University in Bangkok.

I love adventure and from a non-swimmer afraid of heights I have managed to learn to swim and scuba dive.

I have overcome my fear of heights and have completed a parachute jump, been paragliding, taken a flight in a Tiger Moth vintage plane, a glider , an acrobatic aircraft and flown a small helicopter. My dream is to take a flight in a fighter jet.

I don't know where my life will take me but I know I will never stop learning and that hopefully China will one day be a place I am proud of.
