Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal
Gr 4-6 Once again Chip Mitchell, eighth-grade computer genius, animal lover and general boy wonder, is featured in ten mystery stories which young readers can solve if they read carefully. Children who enjoy Sobol's ``Encyclopedia Brown'' mysteries (Morrow) should enjoy this book, one of a series which is similiar except that Chip has a robot and a computer and works freelance, not with a pint-sized detective agency. Libraries in which the two previous Chip Mitchell books (Lodestar) are popular or that have an insatiable demand for solve-them-yourself mystery stories should purchase this one.
