Well, they say 'you get what you pay for' and I am glad I did not pay much for this book (and one other by the same author. The heroine of the book, 'Summer', was the most irritating character I have ever come across! She professes to be a "Christian", but her behavior is anything but Christian. She tells lie after lie; is selfish and self absorbed and care little how her actions and lies affect others. She is a master manipulator and just plain ANNOYING!. The author uses the same scenarios over and over. You can count on 'Summer' never having a cell phone that works because every time she is in a tough spot she has 'forgotten to charge her cell phone'. I don't know why the author thinks it is funny, but Summer trips over everything in her path and it gets very old. I found myself so annoyed with her that I could not even finish the book.

    Highly Recommend

This is the first book I've ever read by this author and have to admit I got it as a free book which is what made me try it once I read the info on it. I enjoyed the book so much that I got back online and purchased the rest in this series before even finishing this book. There were a few parts that seemed a bit out there as far as what would go on in normal life but for the most part the story line kept me interested enough that I didn't want to put it down and some parts were so hilarious that I was laughing out loud! Thoroughly enjoyable read.

    Trivial and immature

More approriate for a very young tween reader; I don't think even a teenager would enjoy it. I couldn't bring myself to waste my time finishing it.
