Can I get a witness up in here?????

Wow! This book, Fly on the Wall and Going Broke are just out of this World! I know that a star is born! Trista Russell is truly a gift from God! She has taken Urban Romantic Fiction to a whole 'nother level. The bar has been raised so high now! I'm like a crackhead needing a fix trying to find other authors that can compare! It is so hard to find. All I can say is Trista Russell 'you are absolutely the best'! Please write more and FASTER! I can't get enough of your books. I am a fan for LIFE! I truly mean that you have raised the bar so high and I hope I can find other books that touch me as your books have. You are second to none. I love you! Now, this book is one of the best that I have read. If you don't have all three of her book, please get them now! You will not be disappointed. I don't know which one I love the most because I am torn between the three! Peace and Blessing to you and may God continue to anoint your mind, soul and pen to write many, many, more books!

    A Must Read

This is the second book by Trista Russell that I have read and I could not put it down. I was disappointed when it ended because I did not want to put the book down. This book made me laugh, cry and feel so many other emotions I was not expecting to feel. I liked the development of the relationship between Thalia and Isaac. It gave me a little insight to how a pastor, who is single, woos a woman. I was swept off my feet by Rev. Flack. Thalia and her friends reminded me of my days in college, oh the memories. I can't wait to read more books by this author.

    Parallel

Thalia Tyree and her girls, Madison, Yvette and Trell, are headed off to Daytona Beach for the Black College Reunion. They are all in search of having some FUN and meeting some fine MEN who want to partake in having some FUN as well.

Madison, known as Madi, and Thalia are closer than sisters. They have been friends since the 6th grade. Thalia, like the rest of the girls, has always fantasized about the sexy widower Rev. Isaac Flack who just so happens to be Madi's dad.

In Daytona, Thalia meets two men. One filled with lies and drama and the other, could he be the man of her dreams? Andre' Teasdale is educated, mature, well mannered and a detective, but he lives in Philadelphia. He truly understands the art of wining and dining a lady. Can a long distance relationship work? It isn't long before Thalia and Andre' are committed to one another and taking time to visit the other in their towns. Everyone's family seems to enjoy their relationship. Andre' has popped the big question, are they ready for such a commitment?

When time passes and love changes can Thalia finally find her voice? Sometimes waiting for the unknown is better than settling for the seen. Thalia learns first hand that sometimes dreams do come true.

Chocolate Covered Forbidden Fruit is full of love, betrayal, hardship and secrets!!!!
This is my first read by Trista Russell. Although it was a little too much for me in the beginning, I really was captivated by the progression of the story and characters. I myself especially loved the details of emotions when it came to the mother/ daughter relationship. This was so very real. The words and sentiments described were exactly how I felt. I was really completely drawn into the longing, love and connection.

    OMG!!

This book was just as good or better than her other books. I simply love the story of two people coming together and overcoming the age difference and family issues. I couldn't put this book down and even set in my car to read the last few pages.

This book is the BOMB!!!! I was sucked in at the beginning and couldn't put it down. This book will make you laugh, cry, angry, and it will definitely make you think. It's amazing what people have to endure to realize that God is always there, even in your mess and He will allow you to get beside yourself in order for you to get to Him and His will for your life. KUDOS to the author, YOU GO GIRL!!

This Book is off the Chain

This book is soooo good that I read all 320 pages in one day. I didn't want to put it down. There are somethings that will make you cry, laugh, fall in love and say 'Amen'. This book was very intriguing, with so many twists and turns. I first borrowed this book from the library. but, i will say t hat it is a must buy and adding it to my collection on re-readables.
