What critics are saying about the AMBER FOX MYSTERIES:
"Amber Fox is a modern, career-driven woman who seems to be a cross between Kinsey Milhone and Gracie Hart (Miss Congeniality). I enjoyed the great mixture of action adventure and slapstick. I found myself chuckling out loud and on one occasion snorting water out my nose." ~ Coffee Time Romance & More

"Amber Fox was hilarious with her tough as nails outer persona and her hysterical one-liners that were frequently laugh out loud funny. I definately recommend picking this book up!!" ~ The Caffeinated Diva reads...

"Amber Fox is the kind of strong lead female character with a great sarcastic wit that I love to read." ~ To Read, Perchance to Dream

I loved getting to read another Sibel Hodge mystery with Amber F

I loved getting to read another Sibel Hodge mystery with Amber Fox as the main character. She’s witty, fun, and up for any kind of adventure. This time Amber’s fiancé has to protect his ex-girlfriend from a stalker. Amber enlists the help of her co-workers and her parents to help her investigate the suspects. All of the supporting characters were entertaining and memorable and I liked that none of them were pros; they just wanted to help Amber as well as get in on the action. Try the Amber Fox series if you like unique mysteries that make you laugh.

Sibel Hodge writes in such a way that it feels like your best girlfriend is dishing the dirt and letting you in on her best secrets. Her Amber Fox Mystery series is the perfect combination of chick lit and mystery. Not only is the character hilarious (and loves chocolate), but she's the type your can connect with. There's also the fact that Sibel Hodge writes prose that brings the emotion of the main character to life. You can feel her happiness, anger, jealousy, and more. If you're looking for an awesome mystery, look no further than Chocolate, Lies, and Murder.

3.5 stars. 365 pages. I thought this was a decent read. The prior 3 books in the series were more entertaining. The story felt rushed & was bland at times. I will most likely read more Amber Fox mysteries.
