She started calling out for her son. She had to find him and get back to safety.

A Choice to Survive by N. J. Sparks

N.J. Sparks has written a startling novel with great detail. From the prologue to the climatic ending, the reader is drawn into this story of what our country faces today with the threats of terrorism. The idea of terrorist¿s attacks or even worse; a nuclear attack makes you stop to think what you would do, and how you would protect your family. The main character, Caley, envisions a shelter to protect her family and friends and feels the day will come when they all will have to live there until danger is past. Her planning comes to life when the United States is attacked. The scramble to collect all the family and last minute supplies shows the fears, and yet the strength as the family all works together. A Choice to Survive is a moving experience which leaves the reader with thoughts of their Choice to Survive.
