"This text is quite useful for a survey course in Family Studies. It has current research and is very user friendly. Students seem to find it accessible and it has appropriate 'bells and whistles' to keep the millennial generation's attention."

Personally, I feel that if you're going to write a book about how to make relationships last, manners should come into account as well. Although the book was clean and a fast read, I thought David Knox was very impolite. I e-mailed him to tell him how much I enjoyed the book and asked a couple questions. He e-mailed me back with answers, asked what class I was in, but never said "Thank you". If that isn't irony, what is? I will never read another book by this author again just because of that--impressions count for a lot and his didn't settle with me at all. If it's for a class, I'll fight it. If you can't express simple manners, that makes me question your knowledge of carrying on a marriage. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
