    Enjoyable but

It was an enjoyable read but it was extremely similar to the book Taking Chances. Quincy was frustrating to me how she was never into Declan but held onto him while she was screwing Brody. Also the end just happens and feels very rushed and cold.

    SIMPLY AMAZING!!!

I loved, loved, loved this book. The characters were amazing. I fell in love with them all from the very beginning. I loved the mystery of Brody, the kindness & sweet caring heart of Declan , the wonderful friend in Jenna and the innocence of Quincy. As for Katie, well I could definitely feel her pain. My niece is bipolar. I have seen this disease first hand. I know how it can deeply affect the famliy and friends of that person. God love her she still struggles with it everyday. So I give praise to Mrs. Sydney Lane for taking the time to write this story. It deeply touched my heart. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

**Just Booked received an ARC for an honest review**

Choices…Sydney Lane reminds us the smallest decisions we make take courage to leave what we feel as a sense of security to
embrace a power love in which fate does not let us control.

Quincy Priest is a young woman leaving her home for the first time to go to college, but her life is not as normal as most young women
her age. Quincy has grown up fast for a girl her age, because of an older sister whom fights with many demons herself. With her best
friend, Jenna, they will discover more than a college lifestyle, but life itself with all the highs and lows.

Quincy meets two young boys while attending a class, Delcan and Brody, whom are fraternity brothers. The boys may share the
same fraternity, but are worlds apart in their personalities. Whom will Quincy choose, she finds herself drawn to both of the young
    men?

Sydney has written a great story about choices in life and the effects to those choices not only affect ourselves, but also the lives
around us. The story is a real page-turner and you find yourself unable to put down the book, because you want to know what Quincy is
going to decide next. A true 5 stars rating!

    Wow

I want my own Brody! Great book, wish the ending was a little more......just more. This is not the usual story about a girl choosing between two guys. Although I knew from the beginning who she would choose lol

This book blew me away. I loved all the elements of it. Fate and Choices play roles in the story. The characters were very "real" and likeable. The story line was very smooth. Quincy was just like any kid who tries to fly under the radar by doing everything right and being as invisible as possible. Her family is like any other with guilt, anger, love, and fear when they feel like they have to hide their "secret". When she goes to college with her best friend and lets her hair down a little she gets to be more of who she really is. She meets a couple guys and has her first real experiences with the oppisiate sex and makes some bad choices along the way. The author pulls you in to the story, and makes you care, so when Quincy suffers a loss tord the end of the book you are crying along with her. Quincy takes a step back from everything and pulls her self together. And goes out to LIVE! I loved how the book tells you about bipolar disorder and informs you about facts and myths without being in your face about it. It was a great read and will recommend it to all my friends.

¿Choices¿ by Sydney Lane 5 out of 5 stars The title of this boo

    “Choices” by Sydney Lane
    5 out of 5 stars

The title of this book couldn’t be more appropriate. The running theme is all about the choices we make. Each character has their own decisions to make and we are along for the journey. For the main character, Quincy, many choices are faced down throughout the book. Some of those are small and others are life-changing.

Quincy’s life has been ruled by her desire to appear perfect. In an effort to be as different as possible from her sister, Katie, she has created an image that is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain. It’s only once she’s away at college that she realizes that she has stopped really living. Quickly embroiled in a love triangle, with two guys who couldn’t be more opposite, Quincy spends most of the book trying to choose between them.

Declan offers her comfort and security. He’s easy to talk to and she can definitely see herself with him creating a future. Brody, on the other hand, excites her, challenges her, and pushes her buttons. However, he’s not a sure bet for a relationship, let alone a future. I could understand Quincy’s dilemma. Due to her sister’s bipolar disorder, she is drawn to the stability that Declan embodies. Her choice is about whether she’s really living for herself or still trying not to be her sister.

I liked Declan, but Brody brought more to the table. He saw through her walls and he pushed her to want more. He was definitely the more interesting guy and I really enjoyed the way his character was written.

Jenna, in the role of her best friend, is a great juxtaposition to Quincy. She has a take-no-prisoners attitude and she’s not afraid to truly live! I liked her humor and every scene she was in was a breath of fresh air. I look forward to seeing more of her in the series.

Overall, I enjoyed the book and found it difficult to put down. From the prologue, written to grab your attention, to the epilogue that brought it all full circle, it kept me invested. Lane’s style was easy to read and the questions she brought forward were definitely thought-provoking. I would recommend this book for young adult and adult readers alike. I’m excited to see where the series goes from here.

was given this book as an ARC for an honest review.
I gave this book 5 stars.

This is Quincy, Brody and Declan's book.

Quincy is perfect. The perfect daughter, student and sister always has been, and she is tired of it. She has lived under her sisters shadow for her whole life, her sister is not only bi-polar, but she is a drug addict too. That makes Quincy's life insanely crazy, she doesn't know when her sister will be up or down. So she goes to college with her best friend Jenna. She wants to live her life for once without all the shadows around her. Shadows follow you though.

At college Quincy and Jenna go to a party and meet three fraternity brothers. Eric, Declan and Brody. Eric is instantly smitten with Jenna. And although Declan makes his move first towards Quincy, Brody feels that pull and attraction like he has never felt before.

This now has become a love triangle, only because Declan is the nice guy, he is the guy that could be your best friend and does nice things for you. He is there for Quincy in a way that she really needs right now. She feels an instant attraction to Brody, but Brody is the bad boy. He doesn't do relationships. He is the dangerous choice. And that makes Quincy nervous. And to make it even more confusing Quincy is honest and open with Declan and she has kept her life a secret from Brody. Who does she choose? When she knows that both men want her, and both would do almost anything to get her.

Quincy keeps it a secret from Declan about how much she wants Brody. And Declan thinks he has a fair chance, but does he? When Brody puts on the charm and tries to show Quincy that he can be different with her, will she give in? But when Tragedy strikes and it changes everything what will Quincy do and who will she finally choose? Or will she not choose at all, and walk away?

I usually don't care for love triangles. But this was a good book that draws you in and has your rooting for both of these men for different reasons. I loved Declan so sweet and loving and just plain perfect. And Brody that bad boy that is trying to be what Quincy needs, who says all the right things and is HOT!!!! Quincy does things that will tick you off and make you want to ring her neck, but if you stopped and think about it, what would you do? If you were given the choice to have both of these men even for just a little while and you fell into like she did would you do the same? So before you judge her too harshly, think about it.

I really look forward to reading book two in this series. It is going to be in Brody's pov. Thank you so much for this wonderful series Sydney, I really enjoyed it.
