The two gain the help of Cody's trainer, Hank, and this unlikely trio dash through Arizona, Mexico, and Nevada at a breakneck pace. Cody dreams of auditioning for a reality TV fight show, and Angel is determined to get the kid to his Las Vegas audition. Trouble is, the Croatians are still pursuing her, and unfortunately, there's a Mexican drug cartel in the mix, too. Well! There's nothing but adrenaline in this violent, well-executed retro pulp. VERDICT The sex industry, bodybuilding drugs, and basic revenge make for a potent cocktail in this eye-popping follow-up to Faust's Edgar Award nominee.     Hard-hitting racy pulp with a lotta heart

    It flies like classic pulp, it reads like truth and it hits you with a smart left hook that leaves you as stunned as a fighter wobbling through his first standing eight-count. There are no slick twists, only artfully written characters, broken down gladiators from the sex and violence trades who've battled for our entertainment. They are writ large but speak to a deeper truth. Angel's battle is far from over, and she faces the brutal ugly heart behind the sex and fights we watch for our amusement. Except her heart's stronger, just strong enough to keep on pumping as she's hunted down and forced to pay for the revenge she enacted.

    GREAT BOOK!

    Couldn't put this (nook) book down. Read it right after Money Shot...loved them both! CAN'T wait to see what happens next to Angel!

    This is really a great series and I highly recommend it!
