Meet the Author

Kay Warren, cofounder of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, is also the founder of the HIV & AIDS Initiative at Saddleback Church. She is a Bible teacher, author, and international speaker. Warren frequently travels the globe to encourage HIV-positive men, women, and vulnerable children, and today she is a powerful voice on their behalf. In 2007, Kay authored Dangerous Surrender, and the revised and expanded softcover edition, retitled Say Yes to God, was released in 2010. She also coauthored Foundations, a systematic theology course used in churches around the world. She has three children and five grandchildren and lives with her husband Rick in Southern California.     5 STARS! Obviously, I heard the author teach her original seminar on this, and it was fastastic. But then I read the manuscript of this book, and WOW ... I was blown away. I have read maybe 20 books on finding joy and nothing comes close to the wisdom in this book. I learned a lot. I believe it will be an instant classic. It's gutsy, inspiring, and healing.     kay warren gives christians alot to look at in their faith. sometimes we are experiencing joy but we also experience the tough times and we have questians and this amzing little book gives strength and courage whean the storms come along that challenge our faith. great for Bible studys and quiet time. lots of scripture and awnsers to things that can be very helpful.

    Highly inspiring!!

    This book has given me the tools and confidence to go out and LIVE with joy once again. I recommend it to anyone who has been through tradgedy or has questions about their purpose or wonders why things happen to them. Live with JOY, but feel happiness too!
