Meet the Author

Jeanne lives in southern California. Spending most of her childhood growing up in Arizona after moving from Canada, she came to California via New Mexico. After driving a school bus for almost 20 years she decided to make a life change and focus her attention on her horses and writing.
Jeanne has three horses, one of which is just a yearling that she has high hopes for his future at barrel racing. Spending her days working at their horse training facility gave Jeanne the idea to write her debut book, Choosing a Horse Trainer. After seeing many of their customers struggle with finding a trainer that fits them and their horse, Jeanne wanted to help people in making their decision. She is currently working on her follow up book about buying your first horse. This will be for the beginner, people that are new to horses, giving tips and providing information that is often over looked in the process of buying your first horse.
Getting her first horse in her late twenties has given Jeanne a perspective that helps her identify with people struggling with various issues with their horses. Later in life, first time horse owners, make up a huge percentage of horse people. Jeanne wants to help people get to the point in their relationship with their horse that is pure joy; not hindered by fears or frustrations.
Besides her horses, Jeanne has two cats, who have her well trained, and two dogs, a big old one and a little one that is sure she is the center of the universe.
