    Wonderful book

Donn' t let the book's description fool you! This is a remarkable book aboutabout love and God and friendship and good coming out of horrible situations! I don't want to spoil the story, so I won't go into detail, but I really recommend this book! I was very impressed with the author! The book was very well-written, especially for a free ebook! I was drawn in from the first page and couldn't put it down! You can't help bit identify with the characters! I found myself laughing and crying with them throughout the book

I was suprised by this book...

This book is a great Christian romance, without really being preachy. I didn't expect much from it when I downloaded it, since it was free and...well, you usually get what you pay for. I happy, sad, crying, laughing...the emotional ride in here is worth way more than the $0 I paid for it. I highly recommend this book for all readers!

clean, lively, and full of characters that the young people will connect to...

Reviewed by Author Anna del C. Dye. for Readers Favorite

In Chop, Chop by L. N. Cronk, David is ready for his first day of junior high when he meets the new boy in the city. Greg is a great talker and has a wonderful family that includes his younger sister, Charlotte. Greg's father, a teacher in high school, decides to form a youth group including David, his best friend Lacy, and two other friends. Life goes well for them until Greg and Lacy become close, and David finally takes notice. They square things out, and life continues for all of them.

Later, as seniors in high school, the students have a scare as shots are heard in a classroom, and their lives change forever. After the episode is over, the police arrest a young man, and David is never the same again. His parents and friends don't know how to help him, especially after he leaves them all behind to start college.

This is a great book for teens and young adults, alike, about the coming of age of young men. Girls will also enjoy getting into the minds of the opposite gender.

It's cover, however, portrays a young woman, which could be misleading since the protagonist is a young man. It is a well-written book with not only insights to what motivates a boy, but also the pain of great loss and how our human mind works in tragedies.

It is clean, lively, and full of characters that the young people will connect to. It teaches compassion, forgiveness, and new-found love through its pages. You feel good after you finish this book. Over all, it's a great book.

    Love it!

I love this book! It has a very good Christian message that is perfect for both teens and adults! I couldnt put the book down once i started reading. I even read while i fixed supper. The sequel books are just as good if not better! The lessons about life, love, friendship, and christian life would be good for youth groups to study and discuss together. Im hooked on books by this author!

    Great book!

I originally got this just because it was free. My 15 year old daughter read it and loved it, which I have to confess didn't make me anxious to read it. After all isn't my taste in fiction much more sophisticated than hers? I finally started last night and I have to say it really held my attention. It made me smile, made me cry and I love that it's a young man's story.

Wow! I couldn't put it down.

I was expecting a light and fluffy, qulck read. The only reason it didn't take long to read was i couldn't stop. When you finally begin to wonder where the author is going with the sweet plot, the truth grips your heart and you feel as though you are the main character......feeling what he feels. Can't wait to read more.

I wasn't sure about this book because I'm not religious and it' s Christian based...I was surprized and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. The characters reminded me of when I was young-felt like I could relate to the story. Very well written. Can't wait to read the next one!

This is one of the better books I have read in a long time. I have never read anything by L.N. Cronk and I had not heard of this book but got it free for my nook.

It sucked me in from the beginning and I had no idea how quickly I read pages. One minute I started it and the next I was done and wanted more.

This is a story of true friendship, of God, growing up, death, life, change.

Great and Well written Christian book

I read a lot. But honestly sometimes is hard to find good or well written christian fiction without it coming off preachy. LN Cronk has a very great talent. I look forward to read more by this writer and put on my must read writers list, as well as continue to recommend to others. This story caputred my heart and soul. Greg, David and Laci's story is one that I will not forget as well as one I feel was a honor to have read. I think the thoughts as well as the emotions this story envoke will stay with me forever.

Wish I could give it more stars!!!

This was a great feel good book. I read it in 2 days. I was a little shocked (I had no idea that was coming) at the end but all is good and cant wait to read the next one I am so glad that there are several more sequels. I feel like I have a connection with Laci and David. Like I have known them my entire live. I would recomend you read this book but only if you are willing to be hooked and ready to read the next books the day you finish this one.
