Nikita Magaloff was the first pianist to record all of Chopin's solo music, which he did between 1974 and 1978 for the Philips label. In 2011 Newton Classics reissued all of those in this one set. Chopin dominated Magaloff's repertoire and recitals, perhaps understandably since Magaloff's teacher Isidore Philipp was a student of Chopin's.
