THIS BOOK WAS SCANNED BY GOOGLE. THIER SCANNER COULD NOT READ ALL OF THE WORDS, SO IT FILLED IN THE GAPS WITH WHATEVER. THEY DID NOT PROOF READ THE BOOK. JUST TRY TO READ PAGE 7, JUST ONE PAGE.

After reading the reviews of others, decided to try for myself...very disappointed , cannot read at all, why would Barnes and Noble foist this unreadable classic on us is beyond understanding...guess if they won't be reading it, they just plain do not care!

Knowing very little about Christian in Complete Armour, I was immediately taken in by the Puritan writer's direct and biblically sound instruction. You cannot stop after the first volume, but will be convicted to read the additional writings, as well. The world would be a much different place if preachers were as truthful and direct as Gurnall was in the 17th century. One thousand years from now, this book will still be as relevant as it is today and was 300 years ago. Don't read this unless you want to know the truth about your Christian life and be challenged to live it.

There is nothing more needful for Christians today besides the spirit and God's word, than, The Christian in Complete Armour. All three volumes will fill you and edify you and you will want to get a copy for everyone you know.

Was unable to read. The words were nothing more than random letters mixed together and nothing made sense
