Christian Mystics by Ursla King is one of the most concise books I've read on Christian Mysticism. King covers the subject matter historically, comparatively with other forms of mysticism, and in detail through the biographies of individual mystics who have left us insight into their experiences through their writings. If one is beginning to explore this subject or already well read on Divine Union, Christian Mystics will be a rich source for the seeker as well as an interesting, well written read for the merely curious.
