    What treasure! What an author!

This book, written over a hundred years ago, still speaks clearly to issues prevalent even in the lives of Christians today. I am grateful to the fine folks at Google and at B&N for making it available for me to read on my nook! (Note: there are several typos on most pages, but the value of the content far surpasses any irritation one might feel at finding them.)

    Caution:Paraphrased or Shortened Version

This is not the original version, so I would not recommend it. The original version is wonderful!

No exaggeration - this changed my life

When I read this classic 40 years ago at the suggestion of friends with Campus Crusade for Life it did not register. Then, 5 years ago I read it again, and it had a profound impact on my understanding and Christian daily life. I am not someone who reads a book more than once, but I have read this one 5 times and given over 50 away. Combine this with daily Bible reading and Oswald Chambers' daily devotional My Utmost for His Highest and I cannot imagine your life not changing.
