    Book Lover

This was such a good book I wish it didn't have to end and Suzanne Williams was very detailed just like in her other book "Me and Timothy Cooper" which was also a good read and worth the money. Get the book!

Cute story set in the 1800s about a girl raised in an all-male household after her mother died.  When her best friend's cousin is set to meet her, she is anything but girly!  While he is trying to figure her out, they both have swore never to fall in love, but they are strongly attracted to each other.  That part of the story would be enough, but suddenly there is a murder mystery thrown in!  (Bonus!)  Worth the read!  I was given a copy of this book for my honest review.

    First person , 60 pages

This first person, 60 page short story just happens to take place at Christmas, while there are references to getting ready for Christmas and to Christmas festivities, it is really a mystery. It is a well edited, clean story with a lot of action packed into its few pages. I wish it had been longer as I really enjoyed the characters, writing style and the way it was laid out. I would have given this free standing short, four stars, if it had not been first person. There is murder, kidnapping, other types of violence and lots of family love. I too have four brothers and I enjoyed the teasing they gave their sister, I was happy it was me not getting it. There was only one mistake in the whole book and that one was not a biggie, it was one the heroine said my brothers and I, when in this case, it should have been my brothers and me. ( my father cares about my brothers and I.( Ithink it was.)) Other wise this was a perfect little read. It is not about Christmas though, if that is what you are looking for. For ages 15 and up.
